Hi! My name is Ellie and I’m the founder of Rock and Secure LLC. Rock and Secure is a career coaching business that I started in December of 2022.
I specialize in working with aspiring I/O professionals who are looking to break into the industry. I truly believe that the world is a better place with more I/O professionals in it, and coaching these professionals is how I fulfill this mission.
I started my career in recruiting, then transitioned to workforce analytics after obtaining my MS in I/O. I now mainly do career coaching, but also do some freelance consulting for companies that I’m passionate about helping.
In my consulting work, one of my favorite things to do is build a recruiting process from scratch. When building a recruiting process, I ensure that the strategy is 3 things: simplified, fair, and effective. In my most recent process build I was working with a smaller company who had no documented procedures and no hires after 3 months of trying on their own. I was able to successfully implement a recruitment strategy in 2 days that lead to 6 hires in just 2 weeks. All during the holiday season!
